libftdi1-dbg software package provides Debugging symbols for libftdi1, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libftdi1-dbg
libftdi1-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libftdi1-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libftdi1-dbg *
You will get with libftdi1-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
