libescape-ruby software package provides HTML/URI/shell escaping utilities for Ruby, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libescape-ruby
libescape-ruby is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libescape-ruby package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libescape-ruby *
You will get with libescape-ruby package name, version, architecture and description in a table
