libdbi-ruby software package provides Transitional package for ruby-dbi, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdbi-ruby
libdbi-ruby is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdbi-ruby package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdbi-ruby *
You will get with libdbi-ruby package name, version, architecture and description in a table
