libcwiid-dev software package provides library to interface with the wiimote -- developpement, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcwiid-dev
libcwiid-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcwiid-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcwiid-dev *
You will get with libcwiid-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
