libcrypt-smbhash-perl software package provides generate LM/NT hash of a password for samba, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcrypt-smbhash-perl
libcrypt-smbhash-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcrypt-smbhash-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcrypt-smbhash-perl *
You will get with libcrypt-smbhash-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
