libcec1 software package provides USB CEC Adaptor communication Library (shared library), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcec1
libcec1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcec1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcec1 *
You will get with libcec1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
