libcdio-dev software package provides library to read and control CD-ROM (development files), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcdio-dev
libcdio-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcdio-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcdio-dev *
You will get with libcdio-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
