How to uninstall or remove libatlas.so.3gf software package from Debian 7 (Wheezy)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libatlas.so.3gf package itself from Debian 7 (Wheezy) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libatlas.so.3gf

Uninstall libatlas.so.3gf including dependent package

If you would like to remove libatlas.so.3gf and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libatlas.so.3gf
Use Purging libatlas.so.3gf

If you use with purge options to libatlas.so.3gf package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libatlas.so.3gf

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libatlas.so.3gf
