libapache2-mod-authn-sasl software package provides SASL authentication backend provider for Apache, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-authn-sasl
libapache2-mod-authn-sasl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libapache2-mod-authn-sasl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libapache2-mod-authn-sasl *
You will get with libapache2-mod-authn-sasl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
