How to uninstall or remove libalog0.4.1-base software package from Debian 7 (Wheezy)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libalog0.4.1-base package itself from Debian 7 (Wheezy) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libalog0.4.1-base 

Uninstall libalog0.4.1-base including dependent package

If you would like to remove libalog0.4.1-base and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libalog0.4.1-base 
Use Purging libalog0.4.1-base

If you use with purge options to libalog0.4.1-base package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libalog0.4.1-base 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libalog0.4.1-base
