How to Install ldap-server software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

ldap-server software package provides virtual package provided by slapd, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ldap-server

ldap-server is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ldap-server package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ldap-server*

You will get with ldap-server package name, version, architecture and description in a table
