How to Install lame software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

lame software package provides MP3 encoding library (frontend), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install lame 

lame is installed in your system.

Make ensure the lame package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lame *

You will get with lame package name, version, architecture and description in a table
