kernel-wedge software package provides udeb package builder for Debian-Installer, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kernel-wedge
kernel-wedge is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kernel-wedge package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kernel-wedge *
You will get with kernel-wedge package name, version, architecture and description in a table
