jkmeter software package provides horizontal or vertical bargraph audio level meter for Jack Audio Connection Kit, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jkmeter
jkmeter is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jkmeter package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jkmeter *
You will get with jkmeter package name, version, architecture and description in a table
