irda-modules software package provides virtual package provided by irda-modules-3.2.0-4-itanium-di, irda-modules-3.2.0-4-amd64-di, irda-modules-3.2.0-4-powerpc64-di, irda-modules-3.2.0-4-686-pae-di, irda-modules-3.2.0-4-486-di, irda-modules-3.2.0-4-powerpc-di, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install irda-modules
irda-modules is installed in your system.
Make ensure the irda-modules package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep irda-modules*
You will get with irda-modules package name, version, architecture and description in a table
