How to Install installed-base software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

installed-base software package provides virtual package provided by live-installer, bootstrap-base, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install installed-base

installed-base is installed in your system.

Make ensure the installed-base package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep installed-base*

You will get with installed-base package name, version, architecture and description in a table
