icedtea-6-plugin software package provides web browser plugin based on OpenJDK and IcedTea to execute Java applets, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install icedtea-6-plugin
icedtea-6-plugin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the icedtea-6-plugin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep icedtea-6-plugin *
You will get with icedtea-6-plugin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
