How to uninstall or remove icedtea-6-jre-cacao software package from Debian 7 (Wheezy)

You can uninstall or removes an installed icedtea-6-jre-cacao package itself from Debian 7 (Wheezy) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove icedtea-6-jre-cacao

Uninstall icedtea-6-jre-cacao including dependent package

If you would like to remove icedtea-6-jre-cacao and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove icedtea-6-jre-cacao

Use Purging icedtea-6-jre-cacao

If you use with purge options to icedtea-6-jre-cacao package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge icedtea-6-jre-cacao

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove icedtea-6-jre-cacao
