How to Install hostapd software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

hostapd software package provides user space IEEE 802.11 AP and IEEE 802.1X/WPA/WPA2/EAP Authenticator, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install hostapd 

hostapd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the hostapd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hostapd *

You will get with hostapd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
