How to Install gvim software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

gvim software package provides virtual package provided by vim-gtk, vim-gnome, vim-athena, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gvim

gvim is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gvim package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gvim*

You will get with gvim package name, version, architecture and description in a table
