gnome-ppp software package provides modem internet connection tool for the GNOME Desktop, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-ppp
gnome-ppp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-ppp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-ppp *
You will get with gnome-ppp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
