gnokii-smsd software package provides SMS Daemon for mobile phones, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnokii-smsd
gnokii-smsd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnokii-smsd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnokii-smsd *
You will get with gnokii-smsd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
