gliese software package provides stellar data set from the Third Catalogue of Nearby Stars, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gliese
gliese is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gliese package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gliese *
You will get with gliese package name, version, architecture and description in a table
