gimp-python software package provides virtual package provided by gimp, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gimp-python
gimp-python is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gimp-python package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gimp-python*
You will get with gimp-python package name, version, architecture and description in a table
