How to Install gimp-dds software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

gimp-dds software package provides DDS (DirectDraw Surface) plugin for the gimp, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gimp-dds 

gimp-dds is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gimp-dds package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gimp-dds *
