How to uninstall or remove gfxboot-themes-upstream software package from Debian 7 (Wheezy)

You can uninstall or removes an installed gfxboot-themes-upstream package itself from Debian 7 (Wheezy) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove gfxboot-themes-upstream 

Uninstall gfxboot-themes-upstream including dependent package

If you would like to remove gfxboot-themes-upstream and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gfxboot-themes-upstream 
Use Purging gfxboot-themes-upstream

If you use with purge options to gfxboot-themes-upstream package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge gfxboot-themes-upstream 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.
