germlin-encoders software package provides virtual package provided by gmerlin-encoders-good, gmerlin-encoders-ffmpeg, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install germlin-encoders
germlin-encoders is installed in your system.
Make ensure the germlin-encoders package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep germlin-encoders*
You will get with germlin-encoders package name, version, architecture and description in a table
