$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install fortunes-ga 

fortunes-ga is installed in your system.

Make ensure the fortunes-ga package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fortunes-ga *

You will get with fortunes-ga package name, version, architecture and description in a table

fortunes-ga package basic information:
