forked-daapd software package provides media server with support for RSP, DAAP, DACP and AirTunes, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install forked-daapd
forked-daapd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the forked-daapd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep forked-daapd *
You will get with forked-daapd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
