fonts-lohit-taml software package provides Lohit TrueType font for Tamil Language, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-lohit-taml
fonts-lohit-taml is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-lohit-taml package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-lohit-taml *
You will get with fonts-lohit-taml package name, version, architecture and description in a table
