How to Install firebird-server software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

firebird-server software package provides virtual package provided by firebird2.5-superclassic, firebird2.5-super, firebird2.5-classic, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install firebird-server

firebird-server is installed in your system.

Make ensure the firebird-server package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep firebird-server*

You will get with firebird-server package name, version, architecture and description in a table
