firebird-dbg software package provides virtual package provided by firebird2.5-classic-dbg, firebird2.5-super-dbg, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install firebird-dbg
firebird-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the firebird-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep firebird-dbg*
You will get with firebird-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
