How to uninstall or remove festvox-kdlpc16k software package from Debian 7 (Wheezy)

You can uninstall or removes an installed festvox-kdlpc16k package itself from Debian 7 (Wheezy) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove festvox-kdlpc16k

Uninstall festvox-kdlpc16k including dependent package

If you would like to remove festvox-kdlpc16k and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove festvox-kdlpc16k

Use Purging festvox-kdlpc16k

If you use with purge options to festvox-kdlpc16k package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge festvox-kdlpc16k

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove festvox-kdlpc16k
