How to uninstall or remove ext2-modules-3.2.0-4-itanium-d software package from Debian 7 (Wheezy)

You can uninstall or removes an installed ext2-modules-3.2.0-4-itanium-d package itself from Debian 7 (Wheezy) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove ext2-modules-3.2.0-4-itanium-d

Uninstall ext2-modules-3.2.0-4-itanium-d including dependent package

If you would like to remove ext2-modules-3.2.0-4-itanium-d and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ext2-modules-3.2.0-4-itanium-d

Use Purging ext2-modules-3.2.0-4-itanium-d

If you use with purge options to ext2-modules-3.2.0-4-itanium-d package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge ext2-modules-3.2.0-4-itanium-d

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ext2-modules-3.2.0-4-itanium-d
