erlang-inets software package provides Erlang/OTP Internet clients and servers, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install erlang-inets
erlang-inets is installed in your system.
Make ensure the erlang-inets package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep erlang-inets *
You will get with erlang-inets package name, version, architecture and description in a table
