ept-cache software package provides Obsolete commandline tool to search the package archive, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ept-cache
ept-cache is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ept-cache package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ept-cache *
You will get with ept-cache package name, version, architecture and description in a table
