epstool software package provides edit preview images and fix bounding boxes in EPS files, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install epstool
epstool is installed in your system.
Make ensure the epstool package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep epstool *
You will get with epstool package name, version, architecture and description in a table
