emacsen software package provides virtual package provided by emacs23-lucid, emacs23-nox, emacs23, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install emacsen
emacsen is installed in your system.
Make ensure the emacsen package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep emacsen*
You will get with emacsen package name, version, architecture and description in a table
