elvis-common software package provides common files for elvis, elvis-console and elvis-tools, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install elvis-common
elvis-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the elvis-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep elvis-common *
You will get with elvis-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
