elf-binutils software package provides virtual package provided by binutils, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install elf-binutils
elf-binutils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the elf-binutils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep elf-binutils*
You will get with elf-binutils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
