education-desktop-other software package provides Debian Edu non-GNOME- and non-KDE-specific desktop applications, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install education-desktop-other
education-desktop-other is installed in your system.
Make ensure the education-desktop-other package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep education-desktop-other *
You will get with education-desktop-other package name, version, architecture and description in a table
