How to uninstall or remove education-desktop-gnome software package from Debian 7 (Wheezy)

You can uninstall or removes an installed education-desktop-gnome package itself from Debian 7 (Wheezy) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove education-desktop-gnome

Uninstall education-desktop-gnome including dependent package

If you would like to remove education-desktop-gnome and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove education-desktop-gnome

Use Purging education-desktop-gnome

If you use with purge options to education-desktop-gnome package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge education-desktop-gnome

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove education-desktop-gnome
