dvgrab software package provides grab digital video data via IEEE1394 and USB links, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dvgrab
dvgrab is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dvgrab package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dvgrab *
You will get with dvgrab package name, version, architecture and description in a table
