How to Install dds2tar software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

dds2tar software package provides Tools for using DDS features of DAT drives with GNU tar, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dds2tar

dds2tar is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dds2tar package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dds2tar *

You will get with dds2tar package name, version, architecture and description in a table
