How to uninstall or remove dasd-modules-3.2.0-4-s390x-di software package from Debian 7 (Wheezy)

You can uninstall or removes an installed dasd-modules-3.2.0-4-s390x-di package itself from Debian 7 (Wheezy) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove dasd-modules-3.2.0-4-s390x-di

Uninstall dasd-modules-3.2.0-4-s390x-di including dependent package

If you would like to remove dasd-modules-3.2.0-4-s390x-di and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dasd-modules-3.2.0-4-s390x-di

Use Purging dasd-modules-3.2.0-4-s390x-di

If you use with purge options to dasd-modules-3.2.0-4-s390x-di package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge dasd-modules-3.2.0-4-s390x-di

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dasd-modules-3.2.0-4-s390x-di
