How to uninstall or remove dasd-extra-modules-3.2.0-4-s39 software package from Debian 7 (Wheezy)

You can uninstall or removes an installed dasd-extra-modules-3.2.0-4-s39 package itself from Debian 7 (Wheezy) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove dasd-extra-modules-3.2.0-4-s39

Uninstall dasd-extra-modules-3.2.0-4-s39 including dependent package

If you would like to remove dasd-extra-modules-3.2.0-4-s39 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dasd-extra-modules-3.2.0-4-s39

Use Purging dasd-extra-modules-3.2.0-4-s39

If you use with purge options to dasd-extra-modules-3.2.0-4-s39 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge dasd-extra-modules-3.2.0-4-s39

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dasd-extra-modules-3.2.0-4-s39
