darkplaces software package provides Game engine for Quake and similar 3D first person shooter games, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install darkplaces
darkplaces is installed in your system.
Make ensure the darkplaces package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep darkplaces *
You will get with darkplaces package name, version, architecture and description in a table
