curl-ssl software package provides virtual package provided by curl, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install curl-ssl
curl-ssl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the curl-ssl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep curl-ssl*
You will get with curl-ssl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
