courier-mta software package provides Courier mail server - ESMTP daemon, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install courier-mta
courier-mta is installed in your system.
Make ensure the courier-mta package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep courier-mta *
You will get with courier-mta package name, version, architecture and description in a table
