console-utilities software package provides virtual package provided by kbd, console-tools, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install console-utilities
console-utilities is installed in your system.
Make ensure the console-utilities package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep console-utilities*
You will get with console-utilities package name, version, architecture and description in a table
